On a friend’s recommendation, I picked up this tasty orange soda. Like Polar’s seltzers, it has a wonderfully natural flavor profile. However, it also has some very important differences.
Country of origin: USA
Sweetener(s) used: HFCS
Where to purchase: Amazon (affiliate link)
Factor 1, Packaging:
Definitely available in one-liter bottles, not sure about other sizes.
Factor 2, Scent:
In the bottle it has a strong scent of orange juice; out of the bottle this dissipates somewhat.
Factor 3, Appearance:
Color is pale orange, with no head. This is a cloudy soda that has sediment which will settle out over time.
Factor 4, Bubble:
fine bubble, medium carbonation level
Factor 5, Mouthfeel:
Factor 6, Sweetness:
Factor 7, Flavor:
natural, strong, but much too sweet to be what I would call a dry soda
